The graphic abstractions of the painter consist of creations based solely on black and its variants. These creations are titled by the painter "work au noir".
These abstractions bring together various creations that question the way to give the black a plastic and immaterial dimension.
The Black, so present in the painter's work, becomes the first expression of his pictorial poetry. He offers himself links with the gray and the blue which make explode the depth of his trace.
Only its inscription on the material support gives meaning to the represented space. This work questions the graphical and plastic space of the trace in its plural dynamics which is constituted from a virtuality of gesture and matter.
These works are a meeting place between the trace, the line, the material and the form on which the imaginary is grafted.
